The Aykar Apollon Holiday Village is a large coastal development in Didim. Didim Sun Properties specialises in re-sale properties at Aykar Apollon Holiday Village and is therefore able to offer some greatly discounted properties as well as the widest range of re-sale properties at the village.
In total there are just over 450 apartments at the village. The owners are a mixture of European (mainly British), Turkish and Russian. The Aykar Apollon Holiday Village is all-encompassing. There is no need to go off of the complex for the entirety of your holiday as there is plenty to do but there are an incredible 10 courtesy bus services a day in high summer, for those who prefer to see the local town, resorts, beaches and attractions, as well as a dedicated taxi service and car hire service, all year round. Notwithstanding the aforementionned services, we should state that the village has suffered from new management issues in 2017 and in July 2017 there will be a thorough review of the current management system with the aim of bringing all three phases of the village under one all-encompassing efficient management system. In 2017 there have been serious disruptions to the wonderful facilities at the village and home buyers at the village who buy in 2017 should be aware that it may take until summer 2018 to have all of the services running efficiently once again.
On a more positive and definite note, the sleepy seaside village of Mavisehir is situated a short walk from the Aykar Apollon Holiday Village and Mavisehir has a nightly market selling everything imaginable as well as a nice selection of local eateries and small beaches. The lively resort of Altinkum is just 15 minutes on the bus from the Aykar Apollon Holiday Village and Didim town centre, just 10 minutes drive from the village.
The Aykar Apollon Holiday Village , when fully opened is fabulous for the kids although there is something for everyone to do. The pools are second to none. We attach photos of the pools on Phases 1, 2 and 3. The scale of these can only be appreciated when seen.
Didim Sun Properties has the largest selection of re-sale properties at the village and some of these are extremely competitively priced. We also have re-sale property designs that are not available to buy as new properties. However, prospective buyers should always check latest availability with us before travelling as some of the units for sale have sold very quickly and we have a waiting list of buyers for some units within certain budgets so availability can change very quickly from one week to the next.
All properties are completed to high standards. These standards include ceramic flooring throughout, neutrally decoration; fully fitted bathrooms; fully fitted kitchen complete with oven, hob and extractor fan and remote controlled air conditioning fitted in every lounge and bedroom. However, some of the re-sale properties for sale differ from the developer’s finish and some will be greatly enhanced. Each re-sale property must be viewed to understand its differences and of course the furnishings included within the price.
Management and facilities
As well as the high quality of accommodation, build and finish of property, the complex services and facilities, when fully operational include:

· 4 swimming pool areas consisting of 5 large adult pools and 4 kid pools – totalling 1,360m2.

· Courtesy bus service to local beaches, town and attractions (running a circulate route more than 10 times a day in summer). Bus services run from Easter to end of October every year

· Reception with complex manager
All of these facilities are covered within the annual maintenance costs which to date have been charged in Sterling at £380 or Turkish Lira (up to 1,800 TL) . When the new management is appointed in summer 2017 they will hold a committee meeting that may change these sums for 2017-18, depending upon the works required to continue the facilities at the village and improve on the standards at the village.
Prior to the new management issues at Aykar Apollon Holiday Village, homeowners were able to benefit from:

• Key handling.
• Property insurance.
• Bill Payment.
It is anticipated that all of the above services will be re-introduced with the new management structure as well as several more for the benefit of homeowners.
